Sonu Somapalan is an entrepreneur, eco-volunteer, amateur birder and a compulsive ID-er of all things green. She is a certified volunteer with the Karnataka Forest Department and part of the Naturalist Training Programme organised by Jungle Lodges. She can be found staring down at leaf stalks and flower shoots in forest trails around the city or hiking up unexplored trails, when not running her consulting firm in Bengaluru. She someday hopes to blend her passion for business consulting, artificial intelligence and conservation into her mainstream profession.
