Rajesh Puttaswamaiah is a legal professional and a keen naturalist, wildlife photographer and a citizen scientist by passion. He has been studying various aspects of nature for more than two decades and has published articles across magazines like Sanctuary Asia, Saevus, and Indian Birds. Some of his photographs are published in books like Birds of Konkan and Goa, Euro-Parrot and Indian Mammals. In the last few years, his focus is towards the conservation of bats through research and education, and he runs a completely self-funded nonprofit organisation called Bat Conservation India Trust.
