I love macro photography, where I photograph tiny subjects like spiders, butterflies and flies. I enjoy photographing such small, colourful creatures, and my subjects are very easy to find. I look for them in my backyard, around my street, in the local park and in gardens.

I shot this image at a theme park that houses upcycled, old car parts and old cars, in Bangalore. Here, alphabets of script of the Kannada language have been created using old car parts and they have been placed adjacent to a busy road. I was trying to capture the tent spider with moving vehicles in the background. It was quite challenging to focus on the spider because the web shook every time a vehicle moved in the background. After clicking hundreds of images, I managed to get some in good focus!
