Rohit Jha

Rohit Jha is a wildlife biologist and an alumnus of the Post-graduate program in Wildlife Biology and Conservation, Wildlife Conservation Society-India from National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore. His chief interests lie in issues concerning the long-term conservation of habitats and landscapes supporting threatened biodiversity in India. He is particularly drawn to studying responses of biological populations and communities to the continual changes in landscape within an ever-increasing human presence. At present, Rohit is investigating habitat use of the Bengal Florican Houbaropsis bengalensis, a critically endangered bird, with the Bombay Natural History Society in the Terai grasslands.
