Rohit Chakravarty is an alumnus of the Post-graduate program in Wildlife Biology and Conservation, Wildlife Conservation Society-India from National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore. As a part of his master’s dissertation, he worked on gene flow in bats in the Andaman Islands. Apart from his interest in bats, he is also an avid birdwatcher and is currently working with Nature Conservation Foundation (NCF) towards popularizing bird listing and monitoring among birding and nature groups. Rohit is also associated with the Indian Bat Conservation Research Unit (IBCRU).
