Ramyabala Prabhakaran is a scientist by profession, working in the paleo-sciences. Her enthusiasm to spread the word about the science she does has made her pursue science writing as a serious hobby, although science ‘chatting’ would have been her first choice, since she can chatter away at all times of the day and night! She likes to write about her biggest source of inspiration – the natural world around us.
