Ramit Singal is the author of the 1st and 2nd editions of ‘A Birder’s Handbook to Manipal’ and co-author of ‘Mandookavani: An Acoustic Guide to the Frogs and Toads of the Western Ghats’. He has a keen interest in the natural history of India and has been associated with various research, conservation and outreach & awareness projects in the past. A recipient of the Carl Zeiss Conservation Award in 2015, he currently works as the Program Coordinator of Bird Count India.
