Priya Ranganathan is a wetland ecologist and geologist by training and works in the Western Ghats. Prior to her work on wetlands with ATREE, Priya worked on a conservation education programme in Nagarahole and Bandipur Tiger Reserves and has worked in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve as well, where she studied wildlife dispersal corridors. When she isn’t out wading through swamp forests, Priya can be found scribbling away in her notebook, teaching creative writing classes to school children, or practicing Bharatanatyam. She tries to use dance as a tool to convey messages of conservation. Her website ‘On Life and Wildlife’ houses more of her writings.
