Pritha Dey is a moth-biologist and post-doctoral researcher at the Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Her research towards moth ecology is ingrained in natural history observations. Apart from science, she actively engages in disseminating her understanding of moths through outreach programmes involving citizen-science and popular writing with a goal of improving the state of moth research in India. When not looking for moths, she looks for old books and graphic novels at second hand bookshops, travels and opportunistically paints.
