Prasad Natarajan is a Bangalore based wildlife artist. Self-taught, he has been working on wildlife art since 2005. He is now one of India’s acclaimed wildlife artists and is featured in many leading wildlife magazines. He works with charcoal/pencils (graphite), watercolors, acrylics and Indian ink. His style of work is realism. His associations with wildlife and art inspired him to form ‘Artists for Wildlife and Nature’ (AWN), an artists’ group for conservation. He believes that visual representation is a powerful medium to reach across the world and that art is an important tool and a powerful medium for wildlife conservation.
