Jayanth Sharma took up serious photography in 2004, gradually moved out of IT to pursue his passion, and established himself as a fine natural-history photographer. He travels extensively to take pictures and report stories, in order to generate awareness about the critical importance of conserving vulnerable Indian wildlife that is falling prey to a great many changes. He has bagged awards in wildlife photography and gained recognition in magazines and publishing houses. He has travelled across Canada, Finland, Norway, Brazil, Russia, Africa and South East Asia for photography.
