Ashwini is currently a research student at the Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science. She has completed her masters in Ecology and is now carrying out a project on the Andaman Keelback snake from the Andaman Islands. She is an academic, driven by passion towards reptiles, mountains and island systems. Apart from travelling to serene natural areas, she also likes to sketch forests, animals and architectural beauties. Very recently, she has begun writing and expressing her experiences through words.
