Anusha Krishnan

Anusha Krishnan is a full-time mum and part-time science writer. She joined the Indian Institute of Science aiming to work on immunology and molecular biology. At IISc, however, she was introduced to the wonderful world of ecology which made her rethink her obsession with molecular biology. She eventually ended up working on the fig–fig wasp mutualism for her PhD. She loves reading science fiction, fantasy fiction and popular science books, all of which conspired to draw her into trying her hand at writing. Her foray into science writing began as an experiment to boost creativity during a post-PhD slump, but has now turned into a career path which she continues to pursue whenever she can.
