9th January evening sightings in Kabini:

Mammals:

Tigress was sitting near the Kabini back waters.

4 Leopards ( Male and female walked across the road), male was sitting on a tree and another young male was sitting beside the road).

Pack of 2 wild dogs with 5 puppies were walking on the road.

Pack of 5 otters were playing in the water.

Jackal was walking along the banks of kabini back waters.

Apart from that elephants, gaur, sambar, barking deer, Malabar giant squirrel and stripe necked mongoose.

Birds:

Jungle owlet, Oriental Honey buzzard, black hooded oriole, streak throated woodpecker, bar headed goose, green bee eater’s and green imperial pigeons.

Reptiles:

Crocodiles.
