24thJanuary evening sightings in kabini: Mammals: Sloth bear walked across the road. Pack of 2 Jackals walking along the banks of kabini backwaters. Apart from that ephants, gaur, sambar,stripe necked mongoose and Malabar giant squirrel. Birds: white breasted water hen, Grey headed fish eagle, streak throated woodpecker, green imperial pigeon, green bee eaters, white bellied woodpecker, malabar parakeets, osprey, Malabar pied hornbills and crested hawk eagle. Repiles: crocodile.
