6th February morning sightings in kabini: Mammals: 5 tigers at different places, (Mother and 2 cubs walked across the road, Huge male tiger was doing scent markings to the tree, Tigress walked across the road ) Pack of 2 jackals walking on the road. Pack of 3 wild dogs were sitting on the road. Apart from that ephants,gaur, sambar,stripe necked mongoose and Malabar giant squirrel. Birds: velvet fronted nuthatch, Brown fish owl, crested hawk eagle, streak throated woodpecker, green imperial pigeon, green bee eaters, white bellied woodpecker, malabar parakeets, osprey, chestnut headed bee eaters, heart spotted woodpecker and black hooded oriole. Repiles: crocodiles.
