5th January evening sightings in Kabini:

Mammals:

5 Tigers ( mother and cubs were sitting near the water hole, and other 2 tigresses at different places, one was walking along the banks of kabini back waters and other was drinking water in the pond.

3 Leopards at different places, ( one was sitting on a tree, another drinking water in the pond and the other one is walking on the road.

Apart from that elephants, gaur, sambar, barking deer, Malabar giant squirrel and stripe necked mongoose.

Birds: Brown fish owl, jungle owlet, Malabar pied hornbills, black hooded oriole, streak throated woodpecker, heart spotted woodpecker, bar headed goose, green bee eater’s and green imperial pigeons.

Reptiles:

Crocodiles.
