30th January morning sightings in kabini: Mammals: 2 leopards at different places ( male leopard walking along the banks of kabini backwaters and another male leopard walking on the road). Pack of 2 jackals sitting beside the road. Apart from that ephants,gaur, sambar,stripe necked mongoose and Malabar giant squirrel. Birds: Brown fish owl, jungle owlet, Brown fish owl,streak throated woodpecker, green imperial pigeon, green bee eaters, white bellied woodpecker, malabar parakeets, osprey, Malabar pied hornbills chestnut headed bee eaters and heart spotted woodpecker. Repiles: crocodiles.
