8th February morning sightings: Mammals: A huge male leopard was on the tree, it had seen vehicle, jumped down from the tree and walked across the road. Pack of 2 jackals were walking along the banks of kabini back waters. Pack of 3 wild dogs walking on the road, Apart from that barkingdeer, elephants, gaur, sambar, wild boars, Malabar giant squirrels and stripe necked mongoose. Birds: Green bee eaters, Crested serpent eagle, forest wagtails, Malabar pied hornbills, rose ringed parakeets, green imperial pigeon, yellow footed green pigeon, white bellied woodpecker and osprey. Reptiles: crocodiles.
