Mammals: Elephant grazing on the bank of Backwaters.  Herd of Gaurs, Sambar, Barking Deer, Black-naped Hare and Malabar Giant Squirrel.

Birds: Crested Serpent Eagle, Malabar Pied Hornbills, Blue-bearded Bee-eater, Malabar Grey Hornbill, Great Thick-knee, Little-ringed Plover, Ashy Wood Swallow and RiverTern.

Reptiles: Monitor Lizard.
