A nature photographer of repute, Shiva Shankar is a post-graduate degree holder in Embedded Systems. Born in the pilgrimage-town of Udupi, he received his primary and secondary education in the picturesque Malnad region of Karnataka. His hobby of nature and wildlife photography takes him around the twin districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi. He has co-authored the book “Birds of Southern Coastal Karnataka” and “Birds of Nitte University Campus”.
