Kaberi Kar Gupta

Kaberi Kar Gupta is an ecologist by training, interested in understanding the ecological and behavioural responses of animals to the changing habitats that is either natural or human induced. Her research therefore ranges from behavioral ecology to human socio-ecology. She started the first Slender Loris research program in the wild in Kalakad-Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve. She is currently working on multiple projects in two different continents. Kaberi is now an Adjunct Assistant Professor in California State University (in Fresno), an executive board member of Audubon California, and an advisory board member of the newly formed Citizen Science Association. She is the principal scientist at the Urban Slender Loris Project.
