16th January morning sightings in Kabini:

Mammals:

2 Leopards at different places ( One was was walked across the road and the other walking on the road).

Pack of 6 otters were playing in the Kabini back waters.

Apart from that elephants, gaur, sambar, barking deer, Malabar giant squirrel and stripe necked mongoose.

Birds:
Spot bellied eagle owl, Indian pitta,Black hooded oriole, Malabar pied hornbills , White bellied Drongo, yellow footed green,chestnut headed bee eaters, streak throated woodpecker, bar headed goose, green bee eater’s and green imperial pigeons.

Reptiles:
Crocodiles.
