23rd January morning sightings in kabini: Mammals: 2 leopards at different places ( huge male leopard walking on the road towards vehicle and another leopard walked across the road). Pack of Jackals walking along the banks of kabini backwaters. Apart from that ephants, gaur, sambar,stripe necked mongoose and Malabar giant squirrel. Birds: Grey headed fish eagle, streak throated woodpecker, green imperial pigeon, green bee eaters, white bellied woodpecker, malabar parakeets, osprey, Malabar pied hornbills and crested hawk eagle. Repiles: crocodile.
