27th January evening sightings un kabini: Mammals: 2 tigers at different places ( huge male tiger walked across the road and tigress was drinking water in the pond ). Leopard was sitting beside the road, it had seen vehicle and disappear into the bushes. Apart from that ephants,gaur, sambar,stripe necked mongoose and Malabar giant squirrel. Birds: paradise flycatcher, jungle owlet, Brown fish owl,streak throated woodpecker, green imperial pigeon, green bee eaters, white bellied woodpecker, malabar parakeets, osprey, Malabar pied hornbills and chestnut headed bee eaters. Repiles: crocodiles.
