3rd February morning sightings in kabini: Mammals: 3 Tigers at different places, ( A huge male tiger walked across the road, Tigress walking on the main road towards vehicle and doing scent marking. Another tigress walked across the road ). Leopard sitting on a tree. Pack of 3 wild dogs sitting beside the road. Apart from that barking deer, ephants,gaur, sambar,stripe necked mongoose and Malabar giant squirrel. Birds: jungle owlet, Brown fish owl, crested hawk eagle, streak throated woodpecker, green imperial pigeon, green bee eaters, white bellied woodpecker, malabar parakeets, osprey, chestnut headed bee eaters, heart spotted woodpecker and Brown shrike. Repiles: crocodiles.
