8th January evening sightings in kabini: Mammals: 3 Tigers ( mother and 2 cubs). 2 cubs were playing in the water and mother was sitting in the open area. A huge male leopard walking along the road and doing scent markings. Apart from that ephants, gaur, sambar,tripe necked mongoose and Malabar giant squirrel. Birds: Malabar pied hornbills, osprey, forest wagtails, yellowwagtails, osprey, grey headed fish eagle , green imperial pigeon, green bee eaters, white bellied woodpecker, Malabar parakeets and Brown shrike. Reptiles: crocodile.
