8th January morning sightings in kabini: Mammals: A huge male tiger walked across the road. Pack of 6 wild dogs were chasing sambar. Apart from that ephants, gaur, sambar,tripe necked mongoose and Malabar giant squirrel. Birds: Malabar pied hornbills, osprey, forest wagtails, yellow wagtails, osprey, grey headed fish eagle , green imperial pigeon, green bee eaters, white bellied woodpecker, Malabar parakeets and Brown shrike. Reptiles: crocodile.
