8th February evening sightings in kabini: Mammals: Tigress with 2 cubs ran across the road. Huge male Leopard walking on the road, it saw vehicle and disappeared into the bushes. Jackal walking along the banks of kabini backwaters. Apart from that elephants, gaur, sambar, wild boars, Malabar giant squirrels and stripe necked mongoose. Birds: Green bee eaters, Crested serpent eagle, forest wagtails, Malabar pied hornbills, rose ringed parakeets, green imperial pigeon, yellow footed green pigeon, white bellied woodpecker and osprey. Reptiles: crocodiles.
