12th February evening sightings in kabini: Mammals: 3 tigers ( 2 tiger cubs were sitting in the bushes at one place and another huge male tiger was sitting in the pond ). Leopard was sitting beside the road, it had seen vehicle and ran into the bushes. Apart from that elephants, gaur, sambar, wild boars, Malabar giant squirrels and stripe necked mongoose. Birds: Grey headed fish eagle, Green bee eaters, Crested serpent eagle, forest wagtails, Malabar pied hornbills, rose ringed parakeets, green imperial pigeon, yellow footed green pigeon, white bellied woodpecker and osprey. Reptiles: crocodiles.
