16th February morning sightings in kabini: Mammals: Tiger cub walked across the road. Leopard with 2 cubs were sitting beside the main road, and they were waiting to cross the main road. 3 jackals ( 2 jackals sitting beside the road and another one walking on the road towards vehicle). Apart from that elephants, gaur, sambar, wild boars, Malabar giant squirrels and stripe necked mongoose. Birds: jungle owlet, paradise flycatcher, Grey headed fish eagle, grey wagtails, chestnut headed bee eaters, Crested serpent eagle, forest wagtails, Malabar pied hornbills, rose ringed parakeets, green imperial pigeon, yellow footed green pigeon, white bellied woodpecker,osprey and crested hawk eagle. Reptiles: crocodiles.
