9th February evening sightings in kabini: Mammals: 3 leopards ( By boat they saw 2 leopards, male and female were chased spotted deer towards kabini backwaters). Another Huge male leopard walked across the road. Apart from that elephants, gaur, sambar, wild boars, Malabar giant squirrels and stripe necked mongoose. Birds: Red spurfowl, Green bee eaters, Crested serpent eagle, forest wagtails, Malabar pied hornbills, rose ringed parakeets, green imperial pigeon, yellow footed green pigeon, white bellied woodpecker and osprey. Reptiles: crocodiles.
