15th June evening sightings in kabini:

Mammals:

2 Sloth bears at different places, (both walked across the road).

Pack of 5wild dogs with 3 puppies were sitting beside the road.

Pack of 2 jackals were walking along the banks of kabini backwaters.

Apart from that elephants,gaur,sambar,wild boars, malabar giant squirrels and stripe necked mongoose.

Birds: Velvet fronted nuthatch, golden oriole,Malabar pied hornbills, open billed stork, common hawk cuckoo, Chestnut headed bee eater,Shikra,Crested hawk eagle,Orange headed ground thrush,Crested serpent eagle,Yellow footed green pigeon,green imperial pigeon,Brown fish owl,woolly necked stork,white bellied woodpecker.

Reptiles: Crocodiles.
